RIAAN BOTHA
Founder and private guide
Riaan's journey with Africa’s natural beauty began in the heart of Gauteng province, where he grew up surrounded by a rich variety of birds and nature reserves. His deep connection with the environment sparked a lifelong passion for wildlife, guiding, and photography. For the past 13 years, Riaan has been actively guiding at some of South Africa’s most luxurious lodges and working with renowned tour operators.
Riaan holds qualifications as a FGASA (Field Guide Association of South Africa) Professional Field Guide, Professional Trails Guide, as well as an SKS Bird Guide, making him an expert in both the flora and fauna of Southern Africa. Riaan has expanded his skill set by completing his Private Pilot’s License (PPL) for helicopters and is currently working toward his Commercial License.
As a passionate photographer, he has a special affinity for capturing the beauty of leopards and birds.
Having traveled across most continents and explored all the neighboring countries of South Africa, Riaan's understanding of Africa is truly extensive. He is excited to share his wealth of experience with the world.
Yvonne is an experienced traveler and nature enthusiast. Though she resides in the city, her passion lies in exploring the wild. She has a BSc degree in Nutrition, a diploma in marketing, and has been a successful business owner for four years.
Having journeyed across Africa and other parts of the world, she understands the thrill of adventure and the beauty of untouched landscapes.
With her deep appreciation for nature and wildlife, Yvonne specializes in planning unforgettable safari experiences. Whether it’s a first-time safari or a return to the wild, she is dedicated to creating seamless, memorable adventures for every traveler.
